WPPI Member Michael Cook wins Deadly Award for Visual Artist of the Year
Michael Cook, from Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, walked away with the 2011 Visual Artist of the Year award. This is Michael’s second Deadly, having won the same award in 2008. The accolade caps off a very successful year for Cook. He was a finalist in the 2011 Western Australian Indigenous Art Awards at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, and also a finalist in the Josephine Ulrick & Win Schubert Photography Award at the Gold Coast City Gallery.
